How to make
I start with the preparation of the cherries: I wash them, remove the stems and clean them from the seeds. This is the most complex moment of the recipe.
The seeds are removed with the help of a special device for separating seeds or with a clean hairpin or safety needle - whatever works for you.
Put them in a deep cookware (for this purpose I use a deep pot, in which I will later boil the jam) a row of cherries, a row of sugar + water and leave the mixture overnight.
The next day, boil the jam, over low heat, until the syrup thickens and the cherries boil completely.
Do not increase the heat and do not stir the cherries vigorously, so that they do not fall apart. Five minutes before removing it from the heat, I add the citric acid and geranium.
While the jam is warm, fill it into jars, close them and turn them over.
The jam with whole cherries is ready.
