Ingredients

  • pumpkin - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • oranges - 2/5 cup (100 ml) of orange juice
  • butter - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 - 2 pinches
  • honey - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • walnuts - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • sour cream
  • powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.

How to make

Melt the butter in the baking pan. Peel, clean and cut the pumpkin into equal sized cubes. Place them in the baking pan with the melted butter.

Pour the orange juice (freshly squeezed), sprinkle with a little cinnamon and wrap it in foil.

Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 30-35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another ten minutes. Remove the baking pan from the oven, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with the walnuts.

Place the baking pan back into the oven for 5 minutes to lightly toast the walnuts.

Mix the cream with the powdered sugar. Serve a portion of roasted pumpkin with the sour cream.
