How to make
Mix the ground tomatoes and the tomato puree. Pour them into a pot. Season with salt and put it on a heated hob.
Cook the tomato sauce for about 10 minutes, or until it thickens. Remove the pot from the heat.
Season with 1/2 cup of olive oil, crushed garlic cloves and chopped fresh basil.
If you don't like the taste of basil, you can substitute it with chopped parsley.
Pour the tortellini into salted boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes. Strain and transfer them into a baking pan.
Pour the tomato sauce on top. Mix the products slightly.
Grate or shred the mozzarella over the tortellini.
Bake the oven-baked pasta for 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 370°F (190°C).
Serve the oven-baked tortellini with mozzarella warm!
