How to make

In a bowl, sift the flour with the salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add a liquid mixture to them from the milk, butter, sugar, yolk and eggs. Add the lemon peel.

Knead the cookie dough. Tear balls from it and shape them into sticks. Prepare a tray with baking paper. Twist each stick into a circle, by joining the ends.

Bake the homemade cookies, until they're lightly browned at 340°F (170°C). Once they are ready, leave them to cool.

Mix the egg white with the drops of lemon juice. Add powdered sugar little by little. Spread the Christmas cookies.

Sprinkle the Long-Lasting Christmas Cookies with White Glaze with the pearls and leave them to dry. Enjoy!
