"Chocolate muffins with white chocolate glaze - we just love them"

Ingredients

  • flour - 9 oz (250 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • chocolate pieces - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • coarsely ground walnuts - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 2 tsp.
  • rum - 4 tbsp.
  • milk - 10 tbsp.
  • for the glaze
  • white chocolate - 7 oz (200 g)
  • dark chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • silver pearls (for decoration)

How to make

In a large bowl, sift the flour along with the baking powder, cocoa and a pinch of salt.

Add the briefly beaten eggs, sugar, chocolate pieces, coarsely ground walnuts, rum and milk.

Pour the melted butter and mix very well your delicious chocolate muffins.

Fill 2/3 of muffin cups with it. Put the cups in a muffin tin and bake at 170°C in a preheated oven with a fan.

Check them with a wooden skewer to see if they're fully baked. Cool the baked homemade muffins on a wire rack.

Break the white chocolate, melt it in a water bath and pour a small spoon over each muffin.

Be careful not to let it get too warm and spread off of the cupcake.

When the white chocolate has dried, melt the dark chocolate and use a piping bag to form a grid on each cupcake.

Decorate the glazed chocolate muffins with pearls or of your choice.
