How to make

Put the meat in a pot, pour 4 cups (1 liter) of water, add the coarsely chopped carrot and the halved onion.

After the water boils, remove the foam with a slotted spoon. Season with salt and boil the meat, until it becomes tender.

Remove the cooked meat and strain the broth. Pour a cup of olive oil into a pot. Add the rice and fry it briefly.

Add the meat, pour the broth and cover the pot.

Cook for about 20 minutes, until the rice is done. Season the finished dish with a pinch of chopped parsley and freshly ground black pepper. Great lamb and rice dish!
