Ingredients

  • chicken wings - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • lemons - 1 pc.
  • salt - 2 tsp.
  • honey - 2 tbsp.
  • sweet paprika - 1 tsp.
  • smoked paprika - 1/2 tsp.
  • black pepper 1/2 tsp.
  • water - 2 tbsp.
  • butter - for greasing the baking pan

How to make

Grease a baking tray. Wash the wings, add them in the baking pan and add 1 1/2 cups of water. Wrap the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake at 390°F (200°C), until the wings are fully cooked, so that the meat is easily separated from the bone. In a bowl, mix the water, honey, salt, both types of paprika, black pepper and the juice of one lemon.

To squeeze the lemon as much as possible, press it against the table and rub vigorously to release the juices.

Add part of the peel, grated on a fine grater. Mix well, until a smooth sweet and sour mixture is obtained.

Grease the wings and bake them at 360°F (180°C) without foil, by brushing them with the glaze every 10 minutes.

If necessary, add a little water at the bottom to prevent the wings from burning. Serve the wings warm with cold beer.
