  • chicken rumps - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • universal sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  • oil - 1/4 cup
  • garlic flakes

How to make

Wash and clean the chicken butts from the feathers, if there are any left on them and then we remove the oil gland. Wash once more under running water and strain them in a colander.

In a large bowl, mix the soy sauce, universal sauce, the juice of 1/2 lemon, garlic flakes, black pepper and oil. Put the rumps in the bowl and mix them well. Leave them for at least 30 minutes to flavor.

Grab a tray and cover it with a sheet of aluminum foil. Smear it with a little oil.

String the flavored rumps onto wooden skewers with a small distance between them. Arrange the skewers in the baking tray.

Turn on the oven to 360°F (180°C) and turn on the fan and after it heats up, put the rumps in it to bake in the middle of the oven.

After about 20-25 minutes they are ready. Serve them with a slice of lemon.

Great white wine aperitif. They also go great with beer or ouzo.
