"Absolutely delicious veal rolls with mozzarella, which we are not yet sure what side dish we will serve them with."

Ingredients

  • beef steak - 4 pcs. (a la minute)
  • mozzarella - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • red peppers - 7 oz (200 g) marinated
  • olives - 5.3 oz (150 g) black and green
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • basil - 8 fresh leaves
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Season the steaks with salt and black pepper. Place two basil leaves on each steak and distribute the sliced mozzarella. Roll them up and pierce them with toothpicks.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sear the rolls for 2 minutes on all sides.

Transfer them along with the olive oil into a baking tray.

Add the chopped peppers and olives mixed with the balsamic vinegar. Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.

Remove them from the oven and cover the baking pan with foil and leave the rolls to rest for 5 min.

The veal rolls with mozzarella are very tasty.
