How to make
The mackerel are cleaned, washed and cut into fillets. They are deboned and dried.
They are sprinkled with the ground spices - sea salt, black, white, pink pepper, cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper flakes and dried parsley.
Cover and refrigerate them to flavor for at least an hour, or overnight.
Then they are drizzled with olive oil and are grilled on a well-heated grill for a few minutes (about 5-6) on each side.
The grilled mackerel fillets are drizzled with lemon juice.
The grilled fish is served with a seasonal salad or side dish of your choice. And...very well chilled white wine or beer!
The aromatic grilled mackerel (marinated with oriental spices) is very tasty.
