"Your regular oven-baked potatoes will turn into a real exotic delicacy with the help of these Oriental spices."

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2.5 lb (1.2 kg)
  • milk - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • butter - 1/2 packet
  • cumin - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 3 crushed grains
  • cloves - 4 - 5, whole
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • parsley - 1/2 bunch, (optional)
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g) for garnish

How to make

Heat the milk and dissolve the butter in it. Add all the spices to the milk - cumin, allspice, cloves and nutmeg. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2 minutes and remove it from the heat. Clean the potatoes and cut them.

Put them into a suitable greased tray and pour the fragrant milk mixture over them. Put to bake in the heated oven to 390°F (200 °C) for about 20-30 minutes.

Serve a portion of the potatoes with a little chopped parsley and grated cheese.
