Ingredients

  • potatoes - 4.5 lb (2 kg) medium
  • onions - 2 cloves red, medium
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • thyme - 1 tbsp finely chopped or 1 tsp dry
  • olive oil - 1/5 cup (60 ml)
  • salt - 1 1/4 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp coarsely ground

How to make

Wash and clean the potatoes of any bad parts. Without peeling them, cut them into quarters. Cut each onion into 6 pieces, and chop the garlic.

Mix everything in a large tray along with the spices and olive oil. Preheat the oven to 430°F (220 °C) and place the potatoes with the garlic to bake for about 1 hour, periodically stirring.

Serve as a side dish to meat, fish, etc.
