How to make
Cut or tear the bread into large chunks. Drizzle it with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Bake briefly in the oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes.
Mix the remaining olive oil with apple cider vinegar and season with salt. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and the peppers and red onions into strips.
Put the chopped vegetables in a bowl, add the pre-crushed garlic and pour olive oil and vinegar. Stir well.
Pour the toasted bread into a plate, spread the vegetables on the bread and pour the juice, which has separated in the bowl.
Sprinkle the vegetable salad with chopped basil.
Add a hot pepper individually (optional).
