"Collect, add Himalayan salt and according to this recipe you can easily preserve dock in jars for the winter"

Ingredients

  • For 6 jars x 720 ml
  • dock - 40 rich handfuls (sliced)
  • himalayan salt - 4 tbsp.
  • spring water - 1.1 gal (4 L)
measures

How to make

A quick, easy, tasty and healthy recipe for a healthy winter meal, prepared with appreciation for nature!

Collect fresh dock from the garden in a large basin and wash it thoroughly. Cut the stems of the leaves. Cut the dock into wide strips - 1.5-2 cm.

In a large and tall pot, boil 1.1 gal (4 liters) of water (you can help yourself with an electric kettle). Add Himalayan salt and stir.

Start pouring the sliced dock, measuring 40 large rich handfuls. Stir again and leave it on the stove for 10-15 minutes, just to change color - from fresh green to pastel green.

Minimal boiling preserves the useful properties of the greens!

In washed clean jars fill up the mixture richly and densely, with as little liquid as possible. Close the screw caps securely and tightly and sterilize them boiling water in a pot for 10-15 minutes.

Very slowly and carefully place and remove them from the hot water - it is desirable with special tongs for jars, by trying not to hit the glass jars into each other!

After removing them, turn them upside down and leave them that way, until the dock jars cool down.

Finally, arrange them in the cupboard, so that you have greens for later on, that remind you of spring!

The Dock in Jars of Himalayan Salt is ready.
