  • semolina - 1 cup
  • oil - 0.5 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • water - 2 cups
  • vanilla
  • walnuts - for sprinkling
  • jam - your favorite

How to make

Pour the water into the pot and add the sugar, place it on the hob and leave it to boil, add the vanilla, stir and remove the pot from the heat.

Heat the oil in a pan and pour the semolina, stir and fry, until it slightly changes its color.

In stages, while stirring at all times, add the syrup and cover the pan with a lid and leave it like that for 5 minutes.

Then pour the halva in a baking pan and once it cools down, cut it into pieces, sprinkle it with walnuts and serve it with a spoonful of your favorite jam.
