How to make
Wash the cherries and remove the cherry pits. Boil the sugar with water in a large pot, until a thick syrup is obtained.
Add the hazelnuts, cherries and lemon slices. Boil, until the cherries are cooked through and the syrup becomes so thick, that it drips from the spoon.
Cover it with a wet towel and leave it overnight, then pour the cherry jam into clean and dry jars.
Turn them upside down and store the cherry jam with hazelnuts in a cool and dark place.
