Ingredients

  • veal medallions - 2 pcs. (80 - 90 g each)
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tbsp. (level top, freshly ground)
  • rosemary - 1 small sprig
  • coarse salt - by taste
  • cherry tomatoes - for garnish (optional)

How to make

Wash and dry the meat well.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).

Heat a non-stick frying pan over high heat and brush the bottom with a silicone brush with one teaspoon of olive oil.

Seal the veal steaks for a few seconds, until they're lightly browned and transfer them into a baking pan.

Sprinkle them on both sides with black pepper and rosemary and put them in the heated oven for about 10 minutes, depending on the degree of baking you prefer.

Since the steaks are not very thick, do not bake them too long, so that they do not dry out. I recommend that you check on them after the 6th minute and if necessary, bake them some more.

Serve them immediately with your favorite sauce, cherry tomatoes, potatoes or fresh salad.
