Ingredients

  • flour - about 3 ladles
  • milk - about 6 cups (1.2 liters)
  • salt
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • ham - 7 oz (200 g) or prosciutto
  • for the breading

  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • breadcrumbs - 7 oz (200 g) with spices
  • oil - 1 cup (200 ml) for frying the croquettes

How to make

In a large skillet, place 2/5 cup (100 ml) of oil to heat up. Add the flour and stir, until it is fried and reduce the heat. Gradually add the lukewarm milk, while stirring at all times with a wooden spoon.

Once the mixture is very thick, add a pinch of salt and add the finely chopped jamon. Leave it on the stove for another 5 minutes and make sure to stir constantly. Remove it from heat and leave it to cool.

Prepare the breadcrumbs in three separate bowls. Form the croquettes and roll them in the flour, then the beaten eggs and finally in the breadcrumbs. Heat the oil and fry them.
