"You`ll have to eat at least one to understand why the world`s gone crazy for Russian Pirozhki."

Ingredients

  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • eggs - 1 + 5 hard - boiled for the stuffing
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • flour - as you need
  • oil - for frying

How to make

Dissolve the baking soda in the yoghurt. Mix in the egg, salt and add flour as needed for kneading a medium hard dough. Roll it out on a floured board and cut out circles with a glass.

Stick together each pair of circles, while putting some crushed boiled eggs in the middle between them. Fry thus prepared pirozhki in hot oil and drain onto a cooking grid, with paper towels underneath.
