How to make
Melt the butter over low to moderate heat and fry the sliced garlic cloves in it.
Once they release their aroma, add the flour and stir until they aquire a light golden color.
Pour the milk in portions, while stirring at all times with a wire whisk, so that no lumps form. Boil for 5-6 minutes and add more milk, if necessary, to adjust the density of the sauce to your liking.
Before removing it from the heat, season with salt and white pepper.
Serve the French sauce with poultry, fish or roasted vegetables.
