How to make
Boil the cleaned, well-washed beets until soft, then peel and chop them. Arrange them in jars.
Pour in the heated to boiling marinade made from 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) of water, 1 cup vinegar, 2 tablespoons salt, half cup sugar, 15 peppercorns and 5-6 cloves.
If the marinade is not enough, make another portion of it. Sterilize for 15 minutes.
