How to make
The collected fig leaves are washed well and left for 1 day, so that the milky white sap can dry.
The next day, put them in water and boil them on high heat for about 15-20 minutes.
Turn off the stove and let the liquid rest for 24 hours.
The next day, heat the decoction and boil it, until its amount reduces to 1 liter.
Strain the leaves and add the sugar.
Boil the fig leaf syrup over low heat. Add the citric acid for 10 minutes, before removing the pot from the heat.
Pour it into clean and warm bottles and turn the syrup with the caps down.
Store the fig syrup in a dark and cool place.
