"Supposedly just for garnish, but they turned out to be so delicious that we ate them all - try them too"

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 4 large pcs.
  • onion - 1 large onion
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • oil - 4 - 5 tbsp.
  • vinegar - 2 tbsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • hot pepper - optional
measures

How to make

Peel and slice the potatoes and onions into thin slices. Crush the garlic cloves and mix them with the vinegar and two tablespoons of oil. If desired, add hot pepper.

Mix the potatoes and onions well with the garlic mixture and spread them out in a baking pan greased with the remaining oil. It is good to have a thin layer. Pour a cup of water (or more if you prefer) and season with salt.

Put the baking pan in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees) and bake the potatoes until they aquire a golden color for about 30 minutes.

Serve the peeled oven-baked potatoes as a side dish to fish or meat.

Note:

Due to the fact that the slices are thin, it is possible that they break when being served, but this is not a concern, they look and taste good in any case.

Enjoy your meal!
