How to make
Cut the potatoes into round slices (if they're too large, halve them), arrange in a tray and cover with water - it needs to fill half the tray.
Dice the butter and distribute it into the tray. Cut the smoked meat as well and distribute it all over - not just on top; you can also mix the pork with the potatoes beforehand. Cut 6 triangles of the processed cheese on top, again distributing evenly.
Add the spices, cover the dish with foil and bake at 480°F (250 °C) about 20 min. (depending on oven).
Check to see if the potatoes are ready with a toothpick. If so, take the dish out of the oven and place the remaining processed cheese (diced) pieces on top.
Return the tray to the oven without foil and let it crisp another 10-15 min. (you'll know it's ready when the water evaporates but there's a white sauce left by the processed cheese).
Once ready, sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
Bon appetit!
