Ingredients

  • spaghetti - 1 pack
  • salt
  • tomatoes - 3, large
  • peppers - 5, red, roasted
  • ham - 7 oz (200 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 4 - 5 cloves
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • parmesan - for sprinkling
  • flour - 1 tsp
  • parsley - 1 pinch
  • basil
  • olive oil

How to make

Boil the spaghetti as indicated on the package with a little salt. Fry the finely chopped onions and garlic in heated olive oil. Add the very finely chopped roasted and peeled peppers and ham.

Stew until soft and add the sugar, salt and a little flour. Mix well and add the chopped into small cubes tomatoes. Reduce to a medium heat and let the sauce simmer until it reaches the desired texture and density.

Remove the sauce from the heat and sprinkle it with chopped fresh basil and parsley. Serve the spaghetti mixed with sauce and grated parmesan.
