How to make
Sift the flour with the salt and baking powder, add the sugar, egg and butter, which is at room temperature. Knead with your hands until the butter crumbs form.
Peel a pear and cut it into small pieces and pour them over the lemon juice. Put the sugar in a suitable pan, add the marsala and melt it on the stove.
Gradually add the chopped pears, bring the mixture to a boil and leave it for 5-6 minutes to boil and then remove it from the heat and leave it to cool.
Cover the bottom of a 8.7x10″ (22x26 cm) baking tray with wet and squeezed baking paper. Pour half of the butter crumbs and smooth them out. Spread the pears on top and put another layer of butter crumbs on top.
The pie is baked in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) with a fan for about 35 minutes. Allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before removing it from the tray.
Before serving, sprinkle it with powdered sugar and decorate it to your liking.
