How to make
Sift the flour with a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking powder! Baking powder is more desirable, but the dough turns out very good without it too.
Add a pinch of sugar, 5 tbsp. of oil and water. Knead a soft dough.
Leave it to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Pit the cherries and pour 2 tbsp. of cherry liqueur.
Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cut the peaches into slices.
Roll out the relaxed pie dough into a circle with a thickness of 0.16″ (4 mm). As I said above, the dough is very flexible and pleasant to work with.
Put the cherries in the middle of the rolled out dough.
Arrange the peach slices next to them. Make beautiful folds with the dough.
Sprinkle the fruit with brown sugar.
Bake the sweet pie at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes.
Leave the lean galette to cool down on a wire rack!
