How to make
This is a different type of pie, very light, tender and tasty and suitable for all occasions and moments of the day.
It is extremely easy to make and the products are few, which makes it economical among everything else.
To begin, turn on the oven and preheat it to 360°F (180 degrees). Grease and flour a baking pan of about 10.6″ (27 cm) in diameter.
Clean, peel and cut the apples and pears into thin slices (you may not peel them if there are no bad parts on their skin).
Arrange them in a fan-shape, by covering the bottom of the baking pan.
Beat the eggs very well along with the sugar. It is important that they are at room temperature. For better results, I recommend beating by placing the bowl in a water bath over low to moderate heat, while being careful not to exceed 100°F (40 degrees). You should get a creamy mixture, which is almost white and very fluffy.
Add the butter and vanilla sugar and flour and beat again for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the resulting mixture over the fruit and put it in the preheated oven.
Bake the apple and pear pie for about 30 minutes or until it aquires a golden brown color.
Leave the pie to cool down and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
The light apple and pear pie is ready.
