  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • tomatoes - 1 tin (blended)
  • minced meat - 9 oz (250 g)
  • wine - 2 tbsp.
  • basil
  • oregano
  • grated yellow cheese

How to make

Put salted water in a pot to boil. Add the macaroni and leave them to boil. During this time prepare the tomato sauce. Fry the onions, garlic and carrots in olive oil.

When the vegetables soften, add the minced meat. Fry it until it starts crumbling, add 5 fl oz (150 ml) of water and leave it to cook for 2-3 minutes. During this time blend a tin of tomatoes.

Add them and leave them to cook. Then add the wine and salt. Leave it a little longer on the stove until it thickens a bit, but it should not be too thick.

Once you remove it from the heat, add as much basil and oregano as you like. Pour the cooked macaroni, pour the sauce over them and sprinkle them with grated yellow cheese. Bake them until the cheese forms a nice crust.
