"A tasty pumpkin pie from grandma`s old cookbook."

Ingredients

  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • water - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • pumpkins - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g), crushed
  • sugar - to taste, about 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • cinnamon - to taste
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Knead a smooth dough from the flour and water. From it, roll out 5 identical thin sheets. Boil the pumpkin, drain it and mash it into a paste. Mix it with the sugar and chopped walnuts and allow it to cool.

You can also prepare this recipe from just a raw and grated pumpkin mixed with other ingredients. Take one sheet, grease it lightly and distribute the filling along its length.

Roll it up and stack the other sheets made in the same way in a greased tray. On top, you can add a little oil. Serve slightly chilled and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
