Ingredients

  • pork loins - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • thyme - 1 tsp dried
  • oregano - 1 tsp dried
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • beer - 1 cup (250 ml) dark
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Remove the excess fat from the meat. Rub it well with the mixed salt, pepper, thyme and oregano. Put the meat to fry evenly on all sides in hot oil, then transfer it to a tray.

Sauté the onions and garlic in a frying pan. Once softened, add the beer and sugar. Pour this mixture over the pork loin in the tray.

Put the meat to bake at 340°F (170 °C) for about 90 minutes. Serve the loin cut into portions and garnished with fried potatoes.
