"Sweet potatoes that also make for an unbelievable addition to your favorite cold beer."

Ingredients

  • red potatoes - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg)
  • orange juice - 1 cup
  • starch - 1/2 tsp
  • curry - 1 tsp
  • chili - 1 tsp
  • turmeric - 1 tsp
  • breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
  • butter - 2 - 3 tablespoons

How to make

Peel the potatoes, cut them and put them to boil until almost done. In a small pan, heat the orange juice and thicken it with starch dissolved in a little water.

Transfer the potatoes with the cup of water in which they were boiled into a pan, season them with salt, black pepper, curry, chili and turmeric.

Add orange sauce, mix them with the breadcrumbs and top them up with another 1/2 cup hot water. Toast for about 15 minutes in a moderate oven.
