Ingredients

  • potatoes - 10 pcs.
  • butter - a little
  • milk - 1/2 cup
  • carrots - 2 - 3 pcs.
  • peppers - 2 red and 2 green
  • minced meat - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • onion - 1 onion
  • oil
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • savory herb
  • salt
  • yellow cheese - for sprinkling

How to make

The potatoes are boiled in salted water. Mash them into a puree, add butter, milk and as much salt as you like.

In a pan, sauté the chopped onions, carrots and peppers, then add the minced meat, seasoned with salt, black pepper and savory herb. Then add the grated tomatoes. Cook everything until the sauce evaporates a little and finally, add finely chopped parsley.

At the bottom of a greased baking pan put the vegetable-minced mixture and flatten it. Spread a layer of mashed potatoes on top, which is also flattened. Sprinkle it generously with grated yellow cheese on top.

Bake the dish in a preheated oven until the yellow cheese acquires a pleasant golden color.
