How to make
Turn the oven on to 390°F (200°).
Beat the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla with a mixer until you have a smooth mixture. Add the egg, then the flour, which you have previously mixed with the salt and soda.
Stop beating as soon as the mixture absorbs all of the flour. Carefully add the grated chocolate and walnuts.
Using a spoon, form biscuits and arrange them at a distance from each other on a non greased baking tray.
Bake them for 8-10 minutes, so that they are neither too hard or too soft (they will look a little moist - do not bake them longer than they need to be baked for) or 11-13 minutes, if you want them to be crunchy.
Leave the walnut cookies to cool for 2 minutes in the tray and then transfer them onto foil.
