How to make
The eggs are divided into whites and yolks. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until they foam up well. Beat the yolks with the sugar, oil and milk.
Add the sifted flour with baking powder and cocoa. Add the egg whites in portions and make sure to mix them in gently with a spatula.
The mixture is poured into a greased and floured cake tin. Bake at 360°F (180 degrees) for 30-35 minutes, until the sponge cake is fully baked.
The finished cake is sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Note: The measuring cup has a volume of 8.4 fl oz (250 ml).
