"Creamy Chicken Casserole - smells delicious, tastes divine"

Ingredients

  • onions - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp.
  • chicken breasts - 2 pcs.
  • tomato paste - 1 tbsp or 1 cup of tomato juice
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • yellow cheese - 200 g
  • sour cream - 200 g
  • flour - 2 tbsp
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Saute the finely chopped onion, garlic and carrot with 2 tbsp of olive oil, until soft.

Make a layer with the vegetables at the bottom of your pirex dish.

Saute the diced chicken in the same pan.

Pour in the tomato paste and simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange the chicken over the sautéed vegetables.

Heat 2 tbsp of oil and add the flour. Cook for a couple of minutes stirring constantly and add the cream.

Keep cooking for a minute and pour the cream over the chicken.

Slice the tomato finely and arrange it on top of the chicken.

Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with the grated cheese.

Place the chicken casserole in the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
