Ingredients

  • rice - 1 cup
  • cabbages - 1/2 head of cabbage
  • onions - 2 heads
  • oil - 4 tablespoons
  • tomatoes - 2 ripe
  • paprika
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • savory - to taste
  • curry - 1/2 tsp
  • chili - 1 tsp

How to make

Heat oil in pot and sauté the chopped onion, then add the chopped cabbage, salt and black pepper. Let it stew, pour in 3 more cups of hot water. After about 10 minutes, add the rice.

Boil over low heat, stirring often. Shortly before the end of cooking, add the peeled and chopped tomatoes, black pepper, savory, curry and chili. Bring to a boil for a few minutes.

Then transfer it into a greased tray and put it to roast briefly in a preheated oven.
