"That`s clever - making potato meatballs with pickles. It makes them the perfect appetizer for beer, as well as brandy."

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • sausages - 7 oz (200 g)
  • peas - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • pickles - 4
  • eggs - 3
  • flour
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • spearmint
  • oil

How to make

The boiled potatoes are peeled and grated. To them, add the finely chopped pickles and sausages, pre-boiled peas, grated cheese, black pepper, spearmint and salt.

From the mixture, form meatballs, first roll them in flour, then in eggs, in breadcrumbs and once more in the eggs.

This creates a double crumbing and will prevent the meatballs from bursting. Fry in plenty of oil.
