How to make
Cut the onions into small pieces and the carrots into cubes.
First, saute the onions in a pot with the heated fat and after the onions have softened and turn transparent, add the carrots.
Wash the spinach well and finely chop it. Add it to the onions and carrots and stew it for 3-4 minutes.
Then add the spices (salt, paprika and black pepper) and the tomato juice.
Add water and add the bay leaf and cover the pot with a lid and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
Finally, add the washed rice and cook the dish until it's ready (about 15 minutes).
Serve it while still warm and add flavored croutons, if desired.
