How to make

Wash and clean the peppers from the seeds, then bake them until their skins begin to separate from them. Peel them.

The tomatoes are also peeled and cleaned. Chop the garlic cloves very finely. Grind the peppers and tomatoes on a meat mincer to make coarsely ground tomato chutney.

Then mix the peppers, tomatoes, garlic, add honey and salt and place them on the hob to a boil. Immediately afterwards, add the oil in a thin stream, which is preheated so that it does not turn rancid, while stirring constantly.

Boil the mixture on low heat (about 1 hour) until the mixture thickens.

Then the chutney is poured into jars, they are tightly closed with caps and boiled for 20 minutes.
