Ingredients

  • mussels - 2 lb (1 kg) with the shells
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • white wine - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • olive oil - 4 - 5 tablespoons
  • lemons - juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Heat the olive oil in a large pan and fry the garlic for a few seconds. Add the cleaned mussels and top up with the wine. Cover the pan and shake well.

Allow to cook until the mussels open, shaking occasionally. Season the ready mussels with salt and pepper.

Add lemon juice and the chopped parsley.
