  • raw chickpeas - 7 oz (200 g)
  • chia seeds - 2 tbsp. (ground) or flaxseed
  • salt - and other spices (optional)
  • for the filling
  • avocado - 3 pcs. (medium sized)
  • small tomatoes - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
  • red peppers - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
  • lemons - the juice of 1/2 lemon
  • onion - optional (as well as garlic and parsley)
  • oil - or olive oil

How to make

In a pressure cooker, cook the chickpeas for 30 minutes, then blend them.

Blend the chia seeds and mix them with the chickpeas as you mash them with your hands.

You should get a sticky dough, which is formed as a base with your hands on the bottom and sides of a pie tin.

For the filling, mash the avocado and add the lemon juice, the finely chopped peppers, tomatoes and onions.

Stir and season with spices of your choice.

Spread the vegetable mixture on the base and lightly press it down. Leave it in a cool place to set.
