Ingredients

  • lentils - 12 oz (350 g)
  • onions - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • salt
  • oil
  • savory herb
  • flour - 2 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tbsp.
  • parsley

How to make

The lentils are washed and put in a saucepan with a little oil and salt to boil.

The onions, carrots and peppers are finely chopped and also added in with the lentils. Towards the end of cooking, peel the garlic and cut it into slices and along with two pinches of savory herb add them in the pot.

The sausage is cut into slices and fried for a short while in a pan.

It is then taken out and flour is put in its place. Once golden, add the paprika. Stir and then add the blended tomatoes.

Once the mixture thickens, add a bit of the lentils and dilute it. Do this several times and once it's done the whole thickener is poured into the pot with lentils.

The cooked dish is served sprinkled with finely chopped fresh parsley.
