Ingredients

  • For the meatballs
  • minced meat mixture - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • round rice - 3 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1/2 onion
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • ground black pepper - by taste
  • savory herb - 1 tsp.
  • For the sauce
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • tomato sauce - 4 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • red peppers - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1/2 onion
  • salt - 1 tsp.

How to make

Let the rice swell in water for 5-6 minutes. Put the minced meat in a bowl and add half of the finely chopped onion.

Crack the egg, season with ground black pepper, savory herb, salt, cumin and the strained and cooled rice. Mix the ingredients well and form meatballs.

For the sauce add oil and add finely chopped tomatoes, onions and peppers in a saucepan and after a minute add the tomato sauce, two cups of hot water and salt.

Once the sauce boils, add the meatballs you formed and cook the meal for 10 minutes.

Finally, add finely chopped parsley, savory herb and black pepper. If necessary, at the end, in a bowl dilute the flour in 2 tbsp. of cold water and pour it into the hot sauce.
