"The bean salad is a real classic among salads, although it is a bit far from the classic understanding of a salad. On the other hand, bean salad is very filling and is a great appetizer for a small alcoholic drink."

Ingredients

  • beans - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • fresh spring onions - 1 bunch or 1 onion head
  • tuna - 1 - 2 cans in olive oil
  • parsley - 1/2 a bunch
  • tomato sauce - 3 - 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • salt - by taste
  • black pepper - by taste
  • sliced pickles - 3 - 4 pcs.

How to make

The beans are boiled, strained and after they have cooled, pour them into a deep bowl.

Add chopped onions, pickles, chopped parsley and spices by taste.

Stir and add the canned tuna + the olive oil from it.

Finally add the tomato sauce and mix.

Leave in a cold place and serve once it has cooled.
