Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 10.5 oz (300 g), whole canned tomatoes
  • tomatoes - 1 pc. (fresh)
  • noodles - a handful (crumbled)
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g) , white/feta
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • celery - 1 stalk with leaves
  • onions - 1 whole onion
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves
  • red pepper - 1 pc. (small)
  • basil - a pinch
  • salt
  • oil

How to make

Cut the fresh tomato, canned tomatoes, carrots, a small red pepper, celery, onion and garlic cloves into small pieces.

Put them in a saucepan and pour in 5 cups of water, a cup of oil and salt.

Cook the vegetables until the onions and carrots soften.

Remove the pan from the heat and blend the delicious tomato soup.

If the soup is too thick, add more water and place back on the stove.

Add a handful of noodles and cook until done.

Serve the traditional tomato soup with crumbled white cheese and a pinch of freshly chopped basil.
