How to make
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. For the white mixture, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt into snow and add a cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved and add the vanilla, baking powder and a cup of flour.
For the yellow mixture, beat the egg yolks with a cup of sugar, 1 vanilla, 1 cup oil, 1 cup milk, 1 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 packet of baking powder. To 1/3 of this mixture, add 1 tablespoon cocoa, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg to get the dark mixture.
Mix 2 tablespoons of cocoa with the walnuts to get a dry mixture to sprinkle between the other mixtures. In a buttered form, pour in the dark mix, sprinkle with the dry mixture of walnuts and cocoa, pour in the white mix, lavishly sprinkle with the dry mix again and then pour in the yellow mix.
Put the Tri-Color cake to bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven. Initially, bake on the lower element until it rises, then use the top one as well, bake until ready at a lower oven setting.
