"Spinach with fragrant Oriental spices."

Ingredients

  • onions - 1 head
  • olive oil
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • spinach - 14 oz (400 g)
  • cumin - 1 tsp of grains
  • chickpeas - 1 4/5 cups (425 g) canned
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Fry the onions and pressed garlic for 5 minutes in olive oil. Wash the spinach and cut it coarsely. Add it gradually to the fried mixture. Stew until the spinach reduces its volume 4 times.

Add the strained chickpeas and stir gently. Leave the dish for 5 minutes on the stove. Upon serving, add salt and season it with ground black pepper.

Optionally, sprinkle with lemon juice.
