How to make
Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Arrange them in a pre-buttered tray and season them well with salt, black pepper and nutmeg.
Separately, beat the cream with the milk and eggs, along with spices to taste. Pour the cream over the potatoes and put them to bake in a moderately heated oven at 360°F (180 °C) for about 35-40 minutes.
Finally, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake until they get a brown tan.
