How to cook

The peeled and washed potatoes are grated above a bowl filled with water. This way, the potato pieces fall in the water. Then the water is removed. Mix the flour, egg yolks, vanilla and sugar to taste.

Mix with the separately beaten to snow egg whites and add some baking powder and baking soda. Take a spoon of the cream and drop it to fry in heated oil or butter.

Optionally sprinkle the potato blini with sugar and serve with fruit juice. Using the same dough recipe, but without sugar, and with salt and pepper, you can fry the pancakes in the same manner and serve the blini with yoghurt as a starter.
